There are basically five types of industrial metal doors that are made for different purposes. These five types are: rolling, sectional, pedestrian, high speed, and dock.
Rolling industrial metal doors are the ones that are widely used by commercial establishments (e.g. department stores). On the other hand, sectional doors are employed by businesses that have warehouses or garages. Meanwhile, pedestrian doors are those designed to handle frequent use and abuse; such as doors at malls, schools, or other busy public areas. High speed doors are the types that are automatically operated. These are normally used by business with advanced requirements such as a plane hangar, and many more. Lastly, the dock is the industrial door you can find in delivery drop-off points; they’re the ones that are specially designed to make receiving and loading of stocks easier to and from cargo trucks.
