I have been staying at my friend George’s house for the past six weeks. I was going through a divorce, and George was nice enough to have me stay at his house. Last Tuesday I had the day off from work. Around ten that morning there was a knock on the door. It turned out to be a delivery fellow. He was delivering a few cabinet replacement doors. It turns out that George was going to be making some changes to some furniture.
STORMS FELL TIMBER
January 13th, 2012 by admin
There are an amazing number of trees that have been felled around the United States due to the arrival of some freak wind storms in many areas around the American West and in the Northeast and this has given some lumber companies an opportunity to get a hold of more expensive types of wood that tends to be planted in urban and residential areas such as walnut and pine. Given the level of demand for things like black walnut slabs, it’s become quite popular for lumber companies to expand their search for pricier woods that many construction companies and home builders are looking for with new construction projects.

We had to start locking the main entrance because of unwanted people that kept coming in and just hanging out. To meet the needs of our residents we decided that we would buy a glass door canopy. We then got great comments about the addition.

Wooden Faux Stone Panels.
January 6th, 2012 by admin
Modern Faux Stone Panels makes good use of elastomers to create light and yet sturdy materials that can be designed to look like actual rock or stone. This type of technology wasn’t available in the past so there were some artists that used wood as the base material for their Faux Stone Panels.
One of the reasons why faux stone panels were used back then was the difficulty of carving stone and real rocks. Wood on the other hand can easily be sculpted since it is much more malleable than stone. Artists would then paint the wood with so much detail that it mimics the look of stone.
Today’s remodeling companies tend to use more of the light weight panels.

In Desperate Need of Household Storage
December 26th, 2011 by admin
We are having a hard time finding room for everything since my mom died and we inherited all her things from her very full home. We already had a very full house on our own, now we’re really lacking for lack of household storage. I’ve tried getting boxes and storage items, but it looks like we may just have to get a storage unit or one of those backyard buildings to put in the corner of our small yard.
